  Nice and clean hostel with comfy and well equipped kitchen. No free breakfast, but when I visited there were free baked goods in the kitchen every afternoon. The staff is nice and the location perfect to explore the city.

  Great location, decently clean, basement room was great for a heat wave, nice common kitchen facilities, nice bunk mattresses, friendly age diverse travelers! Single female travellers? This is a way better option than the other hostel - both for neighbourhood and comfort!

  We stayed here three nights while we traveled Nova Scotia. The location is excellent, a short walk to the harbor front. The kitchen is pretty clean and has everything you need to make your own meals. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly, and the price cannot be beat! The rooms and bathrooms are a bit worn, and there is no AC (but it usually cools off in the evening). If you're looking to travel on a budget and don't care about all of the bells and whistles, I would definitely recommend Hi Halifax!

  One of if not the best places to stay in Halifax. Staff are great .. Other guests and interaction are awesome. The best kitchen and amenities that you could ask for. We had such a great experience this weekend .. From Jessie and Derek - Thanks for helping us enjoy the best weekend in good company - great people!!! ????????????
