Been going to him for many years, and he's cared for me through some tough situations in the hospital as well. I have a great deal of confidence in his medical knowledge, and his diagnostic ability. In addition, Nurse Kate in his office is really amazing!
I've seen Dr. Frankenfeld a few times now he seems to be pretty new to treating MtF transgender patients which is understandable since there aren't many in Bellingham, as long as you tell him what you need you will be taken care of. His staff is extremely compassionate and respectful and always use the correct name and pronouns. His prices are also great, other doctors in Seattle quoted me at over $1000 for an initial appointment but with Dr. Frankenfeld is only $130 for an office visit and labs. I would highly recommend him and his staff to anyone.
