“Good area to drop someone off, pick someone up, park for a day. But at night lots of junkies shooting up in the bathrooms.. A great metro station!”

“Love this spot. The view and the art on the walls makes it nice to stroll around while you wait for your train. It needs a vending machine or maybe a restroom.”

“The station is beautiful with a huge grassy roof and a huge station plaza connecting to go. Too bad it's not used often”

“One of the nicely designed and well built subway stations.I have been to almost every subway station in Toronto and i must say this is one of the largest ones.It has lot of space and it is a heaven for people who feels uncomfortable in crowds.Even if there is a large crowd this would make it feel less .The ceiling is high as well.It connects the North to South Via Buses and Trains and East to West Via buses .Most of the routes has a really good service. The station is built away from all the hassle so it is convenient. There is a passenger pick up which is also a nice addition. This is one of the best in my opinion.”

“Well, It seems that they are renovating a few stations. That I have been. Most of the stations are accessible to shopping centers and what not. The train does get crowded at times, but I havent had any issues as it seems many people get off shortly after. There seems to be alot of police and security folks walking around... which is a good thing. The price depends on how many zones you go. But the train goes to many different locations. The BEST PARTS: Frequent skytrains, I'm talking less than 8 minutes the most, all day long. Once you pay, you get a 1.5hrs to get back on the train and dont have to pay the fee again. So if you go to the mall to shop and get done in that time frame, you can hop on the train and not worry about paying. The train is pretty clean and quiet as well.”

“A station with an industrial art deco flair. Same feel as the bunker style station of the Washington DC metro. It should stand the test of time.”

“Great station well lite and always people there, so night time bus waiting is fairly safe. Most bus drivers are good with a few exceptions. Overall it is a good terminal for bus and skytrain.”

“Typical Subway Station. Has some nice structures inside and usually has someone playing music. Sometimes attracts a young crowd , prob from the local high schools, that hang around sometimes but still a safe place. last stop before the Angrignon Terminus.”

“Best outdoor dance picnic in town, double over lapping and sequential venues. Brilliant location due to maximum sun exposure but shade is aways around. The music is pretty much electronica with other styles weaved in. Uplifting vibe, great looking people with food/alcohol sold on premises. Quite a few Johnny on the spots, but don't wait too late, past eight gets lengthy on the queue. $19 to get in from 2pm to 9.30om. Visit my photos to see metro location. Highly recommend on a sunny Sunday afternoon.”

“Normally clean and calm. A bit crowded between 7h30-8h30 during schooldays since the school is right next door... Only one exit so it's a great meeting point.”

“Nice location. Bonus bike parkade which can be accessed by Compass Card.”

“The architecture is nice, but it is aging and the escalators are constantly broken. It’s like the CEO of the TTC doesn’t really care about this station.”

“Upon arrival at the Vancouver Airport, we purchased a Compass card as public transportation is excellent. We put enough money into our cards to ensure ease of travel during the entire week we spent in the city. Taking our luggage with us, we traveled by train. The Compass card is for transportation by bus, water bus, train and sky rail... We arrived at the Olympic Village, walking towards Whole Foods with luggage and all to buy groceries / water because we had rented an apartment, costing less than staying at a hotel. We visited many spots by bus and the use of the card is so very convenient. For the most part all our traveled started or ended at the Olympic Village Station, which allows for North and South bound tracks. We also traveled by bus, in fact on one rainy day we went from one side of the City to Victoria, returning on the bus coming back in the other direction... Another day when it was raining profusely, we took a bus and went to Waterfront to cross the bay by water bus. Now that our vacation is over, we called Compass as there was still money in our account and they were very helpful in returning the money, asking us to also return the cards to obtain the $6 deposit. Highly recommend!”
