  I cannot say enough good things about Dunara. Living there for 2 years helped me get my life on track. The staff are incredible, compassionate & caring. This isn't the type of group home where they give you a room and let you figure things out on your own. Staff at Dunara are very hands on with residents & available 24/7 on site in case of need. Staff hold daily routines with residents, weekly social groups on site & special outings on a regular basis to places like the local bowling alley, butterfly conservatory etc... I always felt safe living at Dunara & enjoyed my time there. It breaks my heart to see that they've recently been forced to move out of 329 Gordon St. Because I have so many cherished memories in that house. However I'm confident that the new house will help new residents create cherished memories of their own. Bottom line is that if you're considering placing a loved one in the care of the people at Dunara, you'll be making a very wise choice that will positively change that person's life just as Dunara changed my life for the better, years ago
