  I'm not sure if I was just lucky, but I had a very pleasant experience at Dr. Chow's office (granted, I've never been to a dermatologist before so I don't know what the standard is). I almost cancelled my appointment because of the reviews but I'm glad I went in. I've had bad skin issues for over 8 years now and never got it checked. Dr. Chow was very patient and attentive, and took her time understanding my problem. I was overwhelmed because there were so many things that I wanted to tell her, but she ended up asking all the right questions to get a proper diagnosis. In less that 2 weeks, my skin condition is maybe 10% of what it used to be. I would just giver her the benefit of the doubt if you are hesitant to go see her.
