It's open all the time so that's chill, it's priced kinda highly but it ain't half bad for 24 hours. Servers are nice, good vibe, whatever man. The novelty really comes from it being open late tho. Been going there for months, still haven't had the apple pie, maybe it's just not real.

Every time I've been, it's been cursed. All items are overpriced, the foods always just fine at best and it's not hospitable. My last visit surpassed all my precious expectations of the mediocrity of the Lakeview. I asked for their famous apple pie milkshake and was told they did not have anymore pie, then watched the bartender make someone a pie milkshake minutes later. Honestly a joke, don't believe the hype.
I have been eating here for over a decade. The food is always delicious, the stove is quick, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is wonderful. Highly recommend for a night out or a family in the afternoon! I've taken friends, dates, and my family - great every time!
Great late night hangout. Got the fries, thick cut! Got the happy sundae.. boy was I happy I did. Family got key lime pie, onion rings and apple pie milkshake. Yes, you heard. Its apple pie, thrown in a blender with vanilla ice cream. Sooo good!!
This is an authentic, awesome diner. I loved it and will try to get there again and again. I had the basic hamburger with sweet potato fries which was delicious. The fries were thick, with nice spices and no grease. The menu is extensive, lots of sandwiches, burgers, and regular diner food like Mac and cheese. And the atmosphere is a throw back to the mid twentieth century. Just lovely, fun, and an enjoyable experience. Five stars!
Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. A restaurant recommended by Guy Fieri himself, right in the middle of my city. I've been dying to check this place out. The atmosphere and decor is great. You really feel like you've been thrown back 80 years in time. The food itself is okay. Caught in the middle ground between classic American and something modern, the food is good, but not something I wouldn't crave. I didn't get the triple D items, but our food was okay. I had similar remarks who say people go to The Lakeview because it's, open 24 hours, it's a cheap place to get booze, on a Sunday morning and it's historical value. Not for the food.
