I have panic disorder and chronic anxiety disorder, which is the condition that no matter what is going on, even if you're just sitting and doing nothing, you feel extremely anxious and/or panic-y. Have had it as long as I could remember. It can be debilitating, causing nightmares every night, and the feeling of panic when lying down to fall asleep (the worst part). CAMH saved my life. I would not be where I am today if not for their support. Thanks to them I can pursue a career, instead of feeling like someone has a gun to my head at all times.
