The Dentistry Place

All of the staff here was very kind and caring. They made me feel comfortable and helped calm any anxiety I had. Dr. McGrath was really great at listening to me, treating what needed to be done and never trying to push me into or "upsell" me on extra services or things that weren't necessary like I've felt at almost every other dentist I've been to. Overall I was very comfortable here and they did a really great job with my dental issue. Will definitely be going back!

Dr. McGrath is really lovely. I have never given a positive review for a Dentist in my life, as I have a great deal of anxiety when visiting Dentist, and have gone through a decent handful. I just recently left a Dentist who was rude, disrespectful and took 10 minutes of her day to shame me, and make me feel terrible about myself, so meeting Dr. McGrath and her team was a breath of fresh air. Everyone on her team were kind, and helpful.

My first visit, which I was hoping could be a filling, ended up being a root canal, so not the best first impression but even though it was terrible (because it was an extremely long time with my mouth open, in a great deal of discomfort - no fault of theirs - just the nature of a root canal in the way.. way back of your mouth!) her and her Hygienist were so kind and patient with me (I am not the easiest patient -TMJ/anxiety) so it wasn't the most exciting experience for any of us, but I really appreciated how she explained a lot of what she was doing, and patiently allowed me to have whatever 'breaks' I could.

Dr. McGrath was a referral from 2 friends who are patients at her Roncesvalles office and I really am thankful I was able to get an appointment with her.

I seriously have NEVER given a positive review of a Dentist (not even sure I've ever said a single nice thing about one) but her an her team, really are great.

The best dentist I’ve ever been to. They are reopen now and taking Covid19 precautions very seriously. Very clear they taking extra steps to ensure everything is super sanitary and safe for everyone.

Tanya does a fantastic job as my dental hygienist. She is kind, non-judgmental, and offers encouraging and practical tips to keep your teeth clean and mouth healthy.

Dr. Urbano and Annie are also great people, having saved me from some chipped teeth and permanent wire troubles. Very smart and friendly people I feel I can trust, even when they have their hands and sharp tools in your mouth!

Nikita and Yasmin are also very friendly and helpful at the front. Makes the whole process a breeze.

Fantastic team, makes going to the dentist as painless as possible, and keeps anxiety levels low. Thank you so much!

I have never enjoyed the dentist. Of all the anxiety inducing things in life, the dentist ranks at the top. I've had a difficult time finding a clinic that understands that, as irrational as my fears might be, that I'm a panicked mess whenever I step through the doors. Cleaning, more advanced procedure, just a check up- it doesn't matter because oh boy, do I panic!

I can say that I have finally found a clinic where I can relax... just a little!

I cannot say enough good things about The Dentistry Place. They are patient, empathetic, and always checked in with me as they worked. I cannot thank my hygienist enough for distracting me through the whole cleaning, keeping me informed about what she was doing with each step. She was down to earth, funny, and, bless her, so apologetic for my moody, sensitive teeth. Dr. Lock is always so welcoming, and understanding.
And Nikita! Her warmth as soon as you walk in the door cools those jitters.

While I will never enjoy the dentist, I can recommend The Dentistry Place whole-heartedly.
