(September 9, 2020, 5:44 pm)Compared to the other climbing gyms in downtown Toronto, this one is fairly small but I love it. Located underground, the facilities here are brand new, everything’s so clean and the holds feel like sandpaper. You can go in by appointment only and currently, the gym only allows you to use liquid chalk for health and safety reasons. I had no issues finding Basecamp, signs were everywhere so it was easy to locate the gym (it’s at the very back of a quiet plaza). Would definitely be back! I love how it’s not too busy. Only feedback is I wish they would have played some music at the start of my session, it was eerily quiet for the first hour or so.

(August 22, 2020, 3:24 pm)This gym is small but they pack a lot into the space. My only complaint is that the routes seem to be all over the place in terms of difficulty. Some V1s are seemingly easy while others are more technical. There is also a gap when it comes to the harder climbs. Overall I was happy to climb and I got a 10 pass after given you can use both locations and for whaf it's worth the gym is quite good, they just need some time to iron out the kinks.
