She lived at the Pines for over 7 years and during that time my wife and I had occasion to visit Mom on an almost daily basis. The compassion shown to not only our Mother but our entire family, was genuine and truly appreciated. The care and support provided to Mom was second to none. On behalf of our family I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the entire staff of Whispering Pines. We consider ourselves fortunate to have gained good friends.

(June 6, 2019, 1:16 am)I volunteered at this location and was so impressed by the fabulous staff and friendly atmosphere! The residents were incredibly active and engaged and had many activities available to them. Chartwell clearly is working to overcome the stigma associated with the “classic” retirement facility and is doing an excellent job at it.

(November 21, 2018, 3:02 pm)I've been coming from Hamilton to Chartwell Whispering Pines in Barrie for more than ten years now to entertain the residents. It has always been a wonderful experience. The staff are very easy to work with and always positive. The home is situated in a beautiful and quiet area. And the general feeling among the residents has always been one of true enjoyment. i would gladly go there again and again despite the long distance. A quality experience. Thank you.
