Far Eastern Furnishings

Really like the restoration done by the North Carolina shop on our antique Far Eastern Furnishings bar / server made in the 1960s! We also have nesting tables, jewelry boxes, curio cabinets and barrel stools and love them all! Great company and products... Highly Recommended!

I am so thrilled with my Far Eastern Furnishings furniture! The quality is so good and the wood is beautiful. I have a plant stand, a barrel stool, a rosewood jewelry box and a set of nesting tables - the little one is so cute and I use it to stand on to get things down from high shelves ;-). Janne and I have been customers of Far Eastern Furnishings since 1985! For the last 34 years we have purchased many items for our own use and have maintained a public storage unit partially for keeping an inventory of TNT-4 Nesting Tables, Solid Rosewood Jewelery Boxes, Carved Screens and other Far Eastern Furnishings products to give to our friends as gifts to introduce them to this wonderful company and family!

We love visiting the Toronto location, since you never know what bargains and unique pieces you'll find in the store. Our friends bought some Bar Stools and a Lamp Stand on their last trip with us to match the screen and nesting tables we gave them. You can take Porter Air from Dulles in the DC area to Tornoto - its only a little over an hour flight! The Toronto / Markham location is also right across the street from an excellent Dim Sum Restaurant, better than anything below New York City in the US. Make it a weekend and see an Orioles / Blue Jays baseball game; the ball park is right across from the airport!

We recently got some excellent barrel foot stools from the North Carolina location and always visit when the Company hosts a booth at the Chantilly, Virginia home shows. Our friends in Blacksburg, VA always look forward to our visits to North Carolina, since we drop off some unique furniture goodies for them on the way north! The company has also made their Chinese craftsmen available to modify, repair and restore our furniture, even some recent antique rosewood pieces we purchased on eBay. My brother bought a Bar Server the company had made in the 1960s from a restaurant in the Outer Banks, and the North Carolina store craftsman completely restored it to a beautiful original condition!

This is certainly one company you keep! We wish them all the best and look forward to seeing the owners and their family soon!
