I am an architect, and Michael won several contracts for both interior and exterior repair while I was on the board of my condo corporation. My experience with Michael and his workers has been exceptional. Michael is extremely responsive, easy to work with, and very professional in dealing with all members of the community, the board, and city officials. Unusually, he gives as much attention to small jobs as to larger jobs. I recommend him whole-heartedly.

We've done a couple of projects with CKG (kitchen and bedroom/bath). What impresses me the most is the level of customer service. They don't do the work and walk away. Their customer service continues after the fact, making sure that your experience is 100% positive and built for a long-term.

Just finished an incredible summer huge deck project with CKG/Spot Hot Reno’s. It’s been a delight to work with Mike Tang and his team of professional trades. From Sonny, to John, and Serena, who made this experience beyond my expectations. I created the design, and they executed the complex build. Started a bit rough with the delays of the permit, but that’s due to the City. Once approved, Mike went full speed on the construction and worked consistently over the summer to finish all tasks. Like any project, there are always change requests, and they accommodated all my needs from structure build, to electrical, to privacy wall modifications. I’m truly grateful of their attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

We had a great experience working with Michael and his team. They renovated our main floor (kitchen, powder room, living and dining room) and changed all the doors and trim on our second floor. Very professional and easy to work with and we would highly recommend that you give them a call. We were very impressed in the pride they take in their work. For example, when they tiled the floor, they inspected the floor the next day after installation and if it was not perfect, they removed the tile and did it again. Thank you Michael, Amy (designer) and the rest of your team, we love how the place looks now.

We used CKG for a complete renovation of our 2,400 sq ft home. (kitchen, 3 x bathrooms, 3 x bedrooms, sunroom, floor, opened up wall, create walk-in closet , smooth ceiling, added pot lights, new staircase etc etc ) They took care of our needs from design , colour selection to the finished products. It was a 3 month renovation , the process was smooth and painless. The job was finished right on schedule. Michael (the owner) and his crew were extremely accommodating. They went above and beyond to fulfill our needs. Even a year after the renovation, Michael continues to give us immediate responses. His level of customer service has totally exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend CKG to friends and family . If you want peace of mind renovation, Michael is the man.
