(March 9, 2019, 9:22 pm)It is good to have a nearby community center, however, we have noticed through experience that the level of training, coaching and learning are lower than the private sector. In some cases it is like a joke to subscribe your kids in activities requiring training, you get them at the end of the season with the same skills they had when they started the program. We felt sometimes that we lost three months where we could have subscribed the kids in a more fruitful program in other institutiond. For the camps, it is rather a daycare than any organized program. The city should allow the transfer of active assist to private sector if their real objective is to encourage the activities.
