I love this place for its $6.95 breakfast all-day special. Can you say all-day when you close at 2:00 PM? Anyway, it's a downtown institution unchanged in 50 years, still owned by the Greek couple that opened it in the 1970s. I wish they had a larger portion of home fries in the breakfast special because their home fries are excellent. Good coffee. Very pleasant staff.

Dropped in this afternoon for a simple takeout order of coffee and toast. Well the way the waiter took care of business you would think I was ordering the most expensive thing on the menu. He did a TREMENDOUS job. Left a good tip and let his manager know ... and or course she already knew. Amazing!
