The staff are very professional and educate clients on weightloss, food to eat and exercise. It keeps me on my toes and makes me more aware of my weight loss goals.

I read a lot of reviews online that weren't very good about this clinic but since its OHIP covered and I needed some help I decided to ask to be referred there. Today was my 4th visit, my visit have all been absolutely amazing. They gave me info that I didnt know and I have lost 6.5 pounds already. The BE and doctors have all been kind and helpful. I'm not sure why all the poor reviews but you do have to do what they recommend or nothing will happen. They also told about options of surgery and weight loss drugs but when I said let me just try without those things they were fine about it. Of course if your just going hoping for surgery or some magic quick loss option then don't go here it's not there philosophy. If your looking for some support and to be held accountable for your choices then this us the place.
On a last note, some reviewers state that you can only go once every 6 weeks and that's not true, if you want to go more often you just need to ask. I would recommend this clinic, I went to another place that was offering this exact same type of program and it wasn't covered the cost was $10,000 for one year. Wharton is free for as long as you need and I have never been asked to buy anything from them. I was asked to add some vitamins, fish oil, and fiber supplement which I was free to buy from anywhere I wanted.

The clinic provides information for you to learn and develop good life habits. It is meant to set you on the right path to a healthier lifestyle, it is not meant for people looking for easy and useless cookie cutter diet plans. If you are willing to make a serious change in your life style this is a great place to start and gain the proper foundation. It is very important that you listen to the doctors and educators about nutrition and exercise, you think you know more than them you don't that's why you are here. Be patient ask a lot of questions and be willing to put in the work and you will see a change I promise you.
