I like to try all these types of food so it was a treat when we were driving by the street where this cute little restaurant is located and we were looking for a new thing to try out for dinner. As you would read on the wall of this restaurant, Bangrak stands for "village of love", the staff are super nice and do follow rigorous covid procedures. We ordered the fish cakes, the Pineapple Fried Rice with Beef, Pad Kee Mao with Beef and two portions of the Stick Rice with Mango 🥭. The only reason why I'm giving this place a 4 star is because they don't have a 4.5 star rating. And the only reason why is not a 5 star rating is because the beef was a bit overcooked. However, once you mixed the beef with the noodles and the rest of the fresh ingredients it was such a treat and such a refreshing meal - a good break from the every day meal-cooking. I've been to Thailand before, and this meal literally took me back. I LOVE the Sticky rice with Mango. The combination of sweet and salty flavors and the coconut milk with the fresh Mango is absolutely amazing. I even plated it at home and I love the look 😍💕😋. I'll definitely give this place another try and sample their other dishes. I hope you also give it a try.😊

(April 1, 2021, 7:31 pm)We had a crave for curries. So, we decided to order red curry and pad Thai from Bangrak. My husband can eat a little bit spicy so the red curry was perfect for him. It wasn’t too spicy :) So good!

(December 15, 2020, 12:14 am)There's lots of parking, but it's around the back of the place. As for the food ... The food is always so fresh and delicious. The mango dessert is something I'd never had before and has become a personal favourite. Sometimes the wait is a bit long, but it's always totally worth it. I wish they were open later. And Mondays. They're closed Mondays and I get they need a day off and all... But it seems my craving for Thai are always strongest on Mondays. You make up your mind and go to order it only to realize that it is indeed a Monday and they are closed. Stupid Mondays.

(December 5, 2020, 4:38 pm)We tried this last weekend for the first time. The Pad Thai is the best in the area! I have been waiting a long time for a Pad Thai that wasn't that ketchup-y taste. I am so impressed with this Thai place that I will be back again, even though it's almost 30 minutes away!
