  I met Kathryn and the staff at Caress about 12 years ago. Kathryn employed me after I finished my electrolysis program. Kathryn was my mentor for the 2 years I was employed there, best 2 years of my life I might add! Sadly, I left as my husband retired from the military and we relocated to Chilliwack BC where I opened my own practice. I could not have done it without Kathryn's tutelage over those 2 years. She is extremely knowledgeable, patient and is always keeping up to date on latest information and techniques electrolysis has to offer. She uses only the best equipment and has the highest standard of infection control. Kathryn and the staff at Caress are a great team that work together to help all their clients feel good about themselves. I would recommend Kathryn or any other electrologist at Caress Electrolysis for your permanent hair removal needs. They are also trans friendly and have amazing hours to serve their clientele.

  Today I had a consultation and treatment with Kathryn Hay at Caress. I can’t say enough about how wonderful my experience was today. Kathryn was transparent and informative about what the treatment entailed and the cost. I did not feel like I was taken advantage of like some other places I’ve been to for cosmetic treatments. The office was clean, the staff (Eileen, receptionist and Kathryn) were all very friendly and skilled, and my privacy was respected. I will definitely be going back for future treatments.   I've been coming to Caress Electrolysis for removal of unwanted facial and body hair for over 6 years and I could not be any happier with the fantastic results and excellent service I've received. Plucking my eyebrows used to add between 5 and 10 painful, frustrating minutes to my daily routine but after receiving electrolysis, my eyebrows always effortlessly look flawless. I recently had a friend over who asked to borrow my tweezers and I actually couldn't find them because I haven't used them in so long. She was amazed when I told her I haven't touched my own eyebrows in over 3 years because "they always look so perfect." I never get ingrown eyebrow hairs anymore either, it's phenomenal.
  
  These are results that I imagine I could get anywhere electrolysis is offered, but I keep returning to Caress because I love the electrologists and the atmosphere so much! They have extremely high standards when it comes to hygiene, cleanliness and professionalism. I'm always immediately at ease when I enter Caress because I'm warmly greeted by the receptionist, the electrologists and the soft relaxing music. There is a little bowl of Werthers candy set out for clients while they wait for their appointment and I've developed a strange kind of Pavlovian association between electrolysis and Werthers candy. During the treatment itself, I often feel like I'm catching up with an old friend, the electrologists are so attentive and they make excellent conversation. They're interesting, witty, and when you need it, they'll listen to you almost like a therapist.
  
  I don't even live in Ottawa anymore but I still go get treatments at Caress whenever I'm in town because I'm so in love with it! Words cannot adequately convey the deep adoration and gratitude I feel towards Kathryn and the entire Caress staff! I love you ladies!!!

  My experience at Caress has been and continues to be great. I went in with a ton of questions and worry and was happy to find that the staff is very knowledgeable. Being transgender, I had many worries and anxieties about having electrolysis done, and pain was one of my major concerns. However, my needs have been respected and I feel cared for while I am there. I intend on continuing my visits, and setting up appointments has been very convenient for me along the way.
