(August 29, 2019, 11:35 am)My young son has been attending camp at Stillwater stables; he is in his glory. We couldn’t be happier with the camp. The vibe of the whole place is so peaceful and rejuvenating. He comes home happy and filthy and exhausted every day and full of stories. Highly recommended. Thank you Stillwater.

(April 9, 2016, 11:31 pm)I love this barn! You learn so much more than just riding at Stillwater Stables! Their natural horsemanship approach helps you understand the "why" behind horse behaviour. You learn to communicate with horses in a way that they understand and because of this, the horses are incredibly willing, calm, and happy :)
Stillwater Stables offers the best horseback riding summer camps, birthday parties, PD days and lessons in Ottawa. I am beyond impressed with how savvy and capable the kids are at Stillwater Stables. They real horse-people - they can get their ponies to stop and go with the lightest touch or gesture, they can read their pony's body language to know how they are feeling, and they are quite competent little riders too!
The atmosphere at Stillwater Stables is very welcoming and warm. You feel like you are a part of the community as soon as you step in the door.

It's a place to learn about your horse's personality, to build relationships, to increase your confidence, to increase your knowledge of horse care, to build trust and respect with animals and to meet great people! I am so happy to be a part of this wonderful community of like-minded animal lovers and 4 legged friends :)
