(November 22, 2020, 7:15 pm)I have hired Thomson’s Edge for quite a few jobs over the last year and a half or so, and have yet to have a negative experience in jobs both big and small. I would, and have, recommended this company to anyone looking at doing a renovation of any size.
We hired Thomson’s Edge at first for a few small jobs at our rental properties, where they provided great results and took responsibility for issues without prompting, and made sure to rectify any problems that came up as soon as possible. This led to me hiring them for a large renovation project at my person residence which I couldn’t be happier with. Not only did they give us exactly what we wanted, they counselled us on what we could do/add/change to make the renovation outcome even better in the end. I felt comfortable that they had my best interested at heart throughout the entire project.
Not only does this company run an outstanding renovation business, they also provide property management (as per the name!). They are 100% hands-on and involved in finding tenants, verifying if they are a good fit, and ensuring the property is prepped for showing. Their efforts led me to taking them on to manage the property, and they continue to keep in contact making sure I am fully informed, and have gone above and beyond any other property management company in the Ottawa area that I have tried out (and I've tried three, and left all with negative experiences).
Thomson’s Edge is at it’s core a hard-working family business that I have learned I can trust. These are good, extremely qualified people, that I have trusted with my personal home, my investments, and my time – and looking back, I am better off for having done so. I’ve worked with many contractors over the last decade or so – and while sure, you can get cheaper, I honestly doubt that you can get better.
A long story short, if you hire this company you’re going to get what you want and more, be it renovation related or property management. -

(October 15, 2020, 11:34 am)I just want to let you know how VERY pleased I am with the work carried out by Jordan and Tyler, from Thomson’s Edge Property Management.They installed a new floor in my hallway, and also removed carpet from my stairway. They did an EXCELLENT job; careful application of the new flooring and 1/4 round, painting of 1/4 round, planing of door so that it would close properly, and thorough job of removing stair carpet and all the nails and staples that held it down.
They cleaned up all the debris from their work and disposed of it.
And, importantly, they were on time, courteous, and polite, not patronizing at all, which is something that women sometimes have to deal with from tradesmen.
I have no hesitancy in recommending this company and its workers.
