We went in for a burger and a steak and could barely hear over the noise, had a kid drop water all over my foot and then the burger was really not to our taste although we ate it anyway.
However....the fries were great, the servers were attentive and with no prompting from us, Manager Mark removed the burger from the bill before he came to find out if there was anything else he could do to make our stay more enjoyable. This was handled in not only a professional way but with a lot of class. Next time we are in London we will definitely give this State and Main another chance to show us what they are capable of. Thanks Mark and the rest of the staff for A1 customer service.

Great place to have a drink with friends. Diner is also great. Their chips and spinach dip is fantastic. Will be back for sure.

The staff was friendly, the food was really good, the atmosphere laid back and inviting.
One of my favourite parts, is although its a franchise, they have a very good beer selection. Lots of varied and craft beer on tap, including a few that are brewed in house!

Neat mix on the menu, vaguely ethnic, vaguely Canadian style food geared towards a zesty lunch. Excellent service. The lamb tacos were delicious, a little smaller than expected. The soup bowls delicious. Superb seating, no wooden chair seats to be found.

I've visited a number of around the dinner hour, and had had very good flatbreads in the past. Today, I was there for lunch, and had the Cobb Salad.. it was very well presented in a large bowl and tasted great. The dressing was served on the side, but it wasn't they traditional creamy blue cheese style dressing which I would have preferred, but not bad. The atmosphere at lunch was quite nice, not too busy nor noisy. All in all liked it very much.
