  Following a very successful respite stay at Royalcliffe residence in 2015, my 97 year old father-in-law made the decision to permanently move in April 2018. From the first phone call, to the initial meetings, tour, moving day and every day since, every member of the Chartwell team has facilitated a smooth transition and welcomed my father-in-law into the Royalcliffe family. From the gift cards, welcome basket, visits from the Chartwell team and their residence ambassadors, my family, my favourite 97-year-old have been thoroughly impressed with every interaction. The facility is spotless, the programs are exciting and extensive, the food is fabulous and every staff member is so welcoming to the resident and their family. In my mind you couldn’t ask for a better living arrangement for your family member!

  My parents moved into Chartwell Royalcliffe Retirement Residence in December of 2016 but unfortunately had to move out after one year due to our moms declining health with dementia, it was a very difficult year for our family and especially our father but i cannot say enough about the amazing staff at Chartwell and the care they both received during this time, from the moment of my first phone call to view the rooms to the day of the move everyone was exceptional, it really helped the family to know they were taken care of and a huge thank you to all the staff that went above and beyond to sit with my father during his sad times to give him some comfort and company. As a family we were all extremely pleased with the room they stayed in, it was very homey and made visiting a pleasure, the building is also always well taken care of and they offer amazing activities every day to enjoy. Moving out was a difficult decision however i would not hesitate to recommend Chartwell Royalcliffe.

  Staff are very friendly however, my mother waited 7 months to get a money owing issue resolved. So many promises and no resolution for an unduly length of time. This was very disconcerting for my mother... she felt dismissed.
