(August 10, 2019, 4:57 pm)The fragrance from the parking lot was mouthwatering! Hubby & I have driven past this spot for a while, and have been eager to try it; we had some time today & were able to stop for lunch. Unfortunately for us, the ribs weren't going to be available until around 3pm, and their fried chicken isn't yet available (they're still waiting for their pressure fryer to be installed).
I decided on the 1-meat platter & chose to have brisket; I had baked beans + mac & cheese as my 2 sides. Hubby had the pork sandwich, and he chose baked beans & coleslaw as his sides. Our portions were very generous -- for "small" sides, they were quite big!
The gentleman who took our orders (Bronson) was very friendly & helpful, and overall, we feel that we had good value for the price of our meals.
I didn't have the need to use the restroom, but hubby said it was clean.
We can't wait to come back and try the ribs & chicken ????
