Selina's Thai

Stopped in here for dinner on the recommendation of friends. It's a quaint little place that you could drive right by but don't. The food is very good. We started with hot and sour soup which was nice and spicy which I like. For mains we had a mild curry and the Pad Thai. Both were delicious and we didn't take any home. This will be a good go-to Thai place for us.

Very pleased with every meal I've gotten there. Had the pad Thai which was not my favourite but I feel like every pad Thai I've had in every different place has its own unique taste. Chicken satay was amazing and authentic, coming from someone of Indonesian decent we have satay too and it tastes exactly like how my grandma makes it, and the mango salad is my favourite (with the satay).

Friend introduced to Selina's about two years ago and I've been getting takeout there ever since! Great tasting food with various spice options. Made fresh in a very timely manner. Very friendly hostess. Love the small counter with seasoning, sauces and tea for sale. I will keep coming here for great Thai food!

Was craving some Asian food while attending to business in Sarnia and came here based on reviews. I ordered the Pad Thai and vegetarian spring rolls. I guess for a smaller town (compared to Toronto), the food was decent but I didn't feel like it was that amazing. I'm not sure if the people working there were Thai but the food was lacking the usual Thai flavors that I'm used to and even though I ordered it with medium spicy level, it was not spicy at all. I had to ask for some peppers and even though the waitress there told me it was "very hot," it was medium at best.

But the most disappointing thing was the level of service I received compared to the others in the restaurant. I don't expect to be treated like royalty but the waitress was more talkative with the other guests in the restaurant (who were regulars and 2 other groups were out of town) and honestly I didn't feel my visit was valued even though I spent almost $40 for one person after tax and tip. ??
