(March 9, 2020, 12:51 pm)Excellent smoked meats with a truly awesome owner. A wide selection of tasty and creative smokes and cuts. The amazing antique shop immediately adjacent doesn’t hurt either. Great shop. Wonderful experience. 10/10 will be back again.

(November 3, 2019, 2:01 pm)My Husband and I are antique junkies and I am ex-professional chef so this beautiful place was really perfect to visit but the real bonus to this place was that the food we purchased was EXCELLENT! We got some of the south African sausage. I overcooked it but the flavour was amazing. We just cooked the chicken on Thanksgiving and honestly it was the best chicken I have ever made and I have made thousands. The chicken wings were also large, juicy with tons of flavour. My fav was the smoked arctic char. Have it with a light lemony ceasar salad and it is to "live for". We didn't meet Mrs Norm on that day but we did spend a bit of time with Norm getting all of our goodies and he was personable, answered all of my questions and was great to deal with. Thank you Norm...but how can I get more when we live in Parry Sound and you are in Minden...
