Clean, spacious campsites. Friendly, available staff. Bathrooms are always clean. Campground is generally quiet after 10pm. The central location in Owen Sound, quick access to the Bruce Trail and affordable rates are a definite asset to this campground. We will look forward to camping here again in the future.

Very nice and quiet campground. Clean and hot showers. Christine at the front office is the best ,.She will manage to switch site if possible. She's the person whom will always do the extra mile to help you.

The campground itself, is beautiful. From the crystal clear pond with the Rainbow Trout, to the warm, clean, saltwater pool. We had lovely, friendly neighbors (when camping, this is ALWAYS a bonus!) and all of the guests at the campground were very friendly too! Lots of dogs, which made us happy, as we had our dogs too. The staff were very nice and kept the campground very clean. A little on the "Big Brother" side, but nice to see that they stay on top of things. The downsides??

    • We were given campsite #57. It was horrendous. Avoid it at ALL costs. Zero privacy. ZERO. This site is smack-dab in the middle of all of the roads that join on the road to the restrooms. Every single person that walked by, felt the need to talk to us and pet our dogs. Which was fine, in the beginning. After about 50x, it became quite a nuisance. One of our dogs is from South Korea & still learning what children are. She is rarely exposed to them. She was (as was our Pug) leashed to a stake all weekend, and by Saturday she was so exhausted with children putting their face in hers, that she began behaving as though she was going to snap at them. We had to put her inside our trailer for a while. Not fair to her. Every adult that walked by, felt the need to stop and talk to us. Very friendly, but also frustrating, as we felt completely on display. Our firepit was about 4ft from the road and our site was a tiny patch of grass/mud. The sewage hook-up was broken and NOWHERE near the hook-up on our trailer. Our hose is 20+ft long and it still wasn't long enough. Had we backed up closer, we would have opened our door in a tree. Site #57 should absolutely NOT be a site. We woke UP, to kids on our site, looking for our dogs, yelling to ask if we could bring them out....The folks at the office offered to "possibly" move us the following day, which was appreciated, but we were already set up and had NO idea how much worse it would get. Many sites are spacious and beautiful, not ours. It's a VERY high traffic spot.

    • Children were still running around the park until 11pm, which was shocking, considering how strict their "noise" rules are.

    • I was HORRIFIED at the damage done to my 2021 trailer, by the thick, low-hanging branches, as we were leaving. I now I have a 6-8" gouge at the top of my brand new trailer, right in the front. They desperately need to be trimmed.

    • Having an American Flag but not Canadian flag at the entrance was VERY off-putting. Can you not have both??

We would come back, but we would ask to stay at the back and to the left of the pond, where there is both privacy and NO low-hanging branches. Overall, it's a nice park, very simple. The guests were so friendly, and the weather was beautiful. We spent hours sitting by the pond, watching the fish. If you want a modicum of peace and quiet, and/or privacy, do not camp at or near site #57. I hope we have a better experience next time and I hope for future campers, those branches are trimmed. I am very upset with the damage to my trailer.

We went tent camping and we were very pleased with the location as well as all the amenities that were offered. It is a pet friendly campground and we loved seeing other people's dogs. It is a very quiet place at night and we slept well. The lady at the desk was very nice and had a great sense of humor. We will stay there again if we ever go back to Owen Sound.

Tent sites we got are pretty decent with lots of shading. Front desk girl was nice to accommodate two campsites beside each other without any extra cost. Wifi said one hour per person per stay. That we did not know before, however we used our own data when needed. Basketball court shown in map not exist, there is a empty space, there is no basketball net. But over all, we enjoyed the stay.
