The hotel is beautifully renovated with well thought out and crafted rooms. Praise your staff as they are very attentive and always willing to help out with the smallest details. We can't wait for the completed spa as it looks like it will be fully appreciated after a full day of skiing.
We absolutely love this resort. We love stopping in after a day out in the mountains. Even if we
aren't overnight guests we love stopping by for
dinner at "forte" restaurant. And we always felt so welcomed. The kids love the skating rink and the playground. The staff is so friendly and everything is so clean. To all the a great evening is the complimentary s'more roast. I give it a 4 star because we've never stayed the night but maybe someday we will. We'd love to!
Room was nice, clean and tidy, food was pretty good as well. Decent value, no great views though, despite renovations some areas still look a bit worn down.
I had the opportunity to stay with a friend at the Lodge for a night. It was a great experience! The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the grounds were spectacular. The wood-fired pizza at Forte is a must-try, as are the incredible cocktails. The service was great (thank you Sam!). I would highly recommend staying here if you're spending some time in Kananaskis.
We had an awesome weekend at the Kananaskis Mountain Lodge. We were there for a friends wedding and I needed to store the cake and cupcakes. The concierge was extremely helpful making sure that the cake/cupcakes were stored and brought out when needed for the wedding supper. The Restuarant “Forte” went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed to set up the space. Both the supper and service were exceptional. The location is beautiful and we look forward to going back there soon!
