(May 21, 2019, 4:57 am)A very jarring and sad piece of Nova Scotia history. Visiting the cross faces you with the reality that for many, this was their last view of Nova Scotia.. and for some, their last view ever of land.
There is signage directing you to the cross on brown signs. I will note, to turn right into the farms second driveway, rather than the end of the road. The view is amazing at the end of the road, however, the cross is inaccessible that way. I speak from experience!
There is also some very nice cows that may lighten the very somber feeling. -

(October 28, 2018, 12:40 pm)What a nice spot! I didn’t know which lane to take to get in at first, but that didn’t take long to figure out. (Take the lane beside the farm property). My girlfriend is Acadian, so it was meaningful for her. I went and spoke with he cows. But really, it was a nice place and well kept.
