The Hon.Charles R. Prescott built this house in 1799 ,it took three years to complete.
Thanks ,to a very helpful tour guide ,I now have a understanding ,that Mr. Prescott is given credit for introducing apples to the region.
Thanks for the summer visit,to a interesting place.
