The bus spots are the only place for street folk in the area to take shelter in the rain however, so they will use those up quickly
(a gazebo somewhere would be great)
Low income stores bring lower class folk though, so I wouldn't change it because I'm one bad slip from homelessness myself and it's nice seeing somewhere where *everyone* is allowed to soak in the sun.
EDIT: I lied they took out half the benches, someone got mad at seeing a sad troubled person and made it the cities problem 🙄 -

(October 12, 2022, 1:39 am)Based on stores, convenience, parking and the like it’s easily 5 stars. Just too bad the area can be shady at times, especially at night, and and the people who make this place shady also make cleanliness an issue..
my more detailed grade would be 4 starts morning and afternoon, 3 stars in the evening and 1-2 stars at night.. many times I plan on coming to the 7 eleven for gas or any items and change my mind when I get closer.. it’s actually that bad. -

(July 12, 2022, 4:54 am)Used to be called Harewood mall, now rebranded "University Village" cause it is within walking distance of Vancouver Island University. Lots of services available: Domino's pizza, grocery store, drug store, 711, laundromat, liquor store, and more.

(July 8, 2022, 2:13 am)It has the stores. A variety of stores too. Don't come here for groceries though unless you're good paying high prices.
But the laundromat is pretty good.
And there's a subway. And liquor store.
Perfect for the university students.
