(September 8, 2022, 12:01 am)It has parking and stores and is open sometimes and closed other times the earthlings are pleasant in both manner and appearance the line up to the clinic is long but only when they are open I think this os because they are closed other times also the line up indicates that people are happy to be there and don't mind waiting like how some people of a certain age lined up for concert tickets and then lined up for the concert cause that's a fun line too some lines are not fun. My family died in Europe a long time ago waiting in lines. Yes I like the Port Place Shopping Centre

(August 23, 2022, 10:48 am)Kind of a run-down storefront now…haven’t seen it/visited for many years so was shocked by the appearance of casino. Once inside or even as you open the front door, friendly staff/security with helpful advise wishing luck and a good time .

Unfortunately, it's also a place where those who have untreated mental health issues and no homes tend to hang out. While almost all are harmless, it can still be intimidating to shop there. -

(June 15, 2022, 8:36 pm)I'm not sure if port place should get five stars, because there's nothing they can do about the people who visit. I really like the selection of shops, especially the local focus. The property is clean and well designed.
I'd love to see more security cameras, for personal safety, but that's just me. -

Port Place Shopping Centre is located in the heart of downtown Nanaimo, an offers a full range of shops, services and restaurants for all your shopping needs. There is plenty free parking and convenient access to grab your goods, or stay awhile and enjoy the fresh ocean air while you sip your coffee on one of the many patios and browse your favourite stores.
