The inspection and walk through were comprehensive, and Stephen took the time to explain anything that wasn't clear or required further detail. He also had extensive knowledge of the local market in terms of renovations and housing stock, which put my particular situation into context. Totally worth the peace of mind when going thru the home buying process - absolutely recommend.

(April 15, 2022, 5:31 am)Steve Barr is the only inspector I've ever worked with, and the only inspector I will ever work with when purchasing a home in Nanaimo. This pro saved us buying a real stinker with the wool pulled over our eyes. We hired Steve again for the next home we had an accepted offer on, and just like the first, he provided a thorough, and detailed report that was incredibly informative and well worth the money. Highly recommended. In terms of home inspections...he sets the...Barr. None of this unconditional offer BS, hire the guy, you won't regret it.

I completed the time and requirements on line, the next day was a follow up call to ensure they were meeting our needs and that we were on the same page. We showed up at the end of the inspection and the inspector went through everything with us on the report. Very clear and concise, photographs were imbedded in the report so we could see what he saw and it was again fairly quick but easy to understand. He answered all our questions and was very personable. Seamless from start to finish. Highly recommend.
