(July 19, 2019, 5:57 pm)The coaches here are great. If they have gone through Peter Twist's training programs, they come out as excellent coaches. Most are Kinesiologists with a good knowledge base. The new owners are much friendlier and cordial than the previous owner George (who was a loose cannon). Unfortunately George had wild mood swings which sometimes created a toxic environment for the members and staff. He also lost the focus of Twist - treating all members as athletes and a longevity/performance focus, instead using harassing marketing campaigns to target the members he wanted - middle aged women. At one point he took on over 20 new members in 24 hours just to make a buck. Whatever the case, he is gone and now it's great again. I enjoy the system and the workouts are well planned with progressions and regressions for all levels.

(June 22, 2019, 3:38 am)The Twist Performance Centre in Port Coquitlam offers amazing programs for all ranges of athletes from the pro hockey player to someone like myself who is trying to perform at my highest level I can in a recreation level. They are up on the newest training techniques and there to provide information for overall health to a wide range of clients in all age groups. They support causes also close to my heart which to me sets them apart from other gyms.
