  Very delicious and good prices. Portions are more like 1.5 portions per serving. Beef in betel leaf was very, very good.

  Like many other great Vietnamese restaurants in Calgary, Van Son has their own version on the the typical offerings seen at other places, and they also bring items that you don't see as often. Anything that they do, they do it well, and it's always worth coming back to either try something new, or to revert back to the usual.
  I'll keep visiting this place as long as they keep the standards as high as they have been for years now.
  Only downside is the parking can get busy during peak hours.

  Incredible food. My husband and I feel this is the best Vietnamese in the city. Friendly staff and real gluten free. Amazing.

  Certainly in the top 5 of my favorite restaurants in Calgary.
  
  All of the staff Are very friendly and well-informed.
  
  They have a wide variety menu items that can be made gluten free. The menu is very informative regarding your options.
  
  They even have gluten-free spring got.... which is a rarity!
  
  There is free parking but at peak hours the parking lot might be filled up

  This place is enjoyable. The service is a bit slow, but the food is really great and the servers are very polite. Interiors are not as interesting as I have seen in other vietnamese restaurants in the city. Still pretty great though!
