Out of all the Chinese places in Edmonton. This one had a reality tv show produced inside of it. What more do I have to say? There service is top notch and they wear nice outfits. The food is unique they have "real" Chinese if you are looking for it. Have two different styles of spring rolls. I love there dry and spicy chicken and tend to remain on their safe course of dishes. Their chow mein is some of the best in the city. I would give five stars but their delivery fee is kind of steep. It is a more expensive restaurant and you pay for their service mostly their food is 4/5 service 5/5 delivery is 4/5 (because they charge $5+tip)
Great place for food. Amy is wonderful, always helpful. The game day buffet is really good lots of options. Korean chicken is a must order (spicy)
The food is always delicious, I always go for the spicy chicken but everything I've tried has been good from here. The service is unbeatable, the family that runs this place are super friendly and make you feel welcomed. The decor is beautiful as well and authentic. I've been here many times and I'll keep coming back
The cost for an adult and a child is roughly $45 after tax. To say this restaurant is a buffet is a massive stretch: there are about six heated food dispensers. Due to this, the demand can outpace the supply. To be fair, I went into this expecting a buffet and that was a bit of a let down since it is clearly meant to be a restaurant. The food is no different than typical Chinese food take out. Pick up orders arrive at the front frequently. On a positive note, the restaurant is beautiful, but it's peculiar to eat take out-style food in a place as fancy as that. In the end, the product could be outclassed at other establishments for the same price. Still, though, if you're looking for Chinese food, there's certainly no let down here... Just avoid the 4/5 batter 1/5 meat chicken balls and order some shrimp. 3 stars it gets for misrepresenting what a buffet should truly be.
Just want to say the experience we had at Lingnan was so special. Our waiter Wilson, made our night unforgettable. Wilson, not knowning why we where there was even that more amazing. We went there not only because we were told the food was amazing but we took a break from the hospital were my uncle was having his second last day to live. And it happened to be my aunties birthday. We also went there because we wanted to celebrate my uncles life as he loved Chinese food and thought this would be the place to do it. Wilson made our night again unforgettable with his charm, just being a real genuine, nice person to all of us, just because that's who he was and want to thank him for that. The restaurant was beautiful, clean and very authentic. The staff where so attentive and had a great sense humour. I highly recommend this place for any special occasion.
