  My boyfriend has been going to this store for a number of years, being an avid comics collector he has been to shops all over the city and this is one of his favourites for a number of reasons, the prices are decently fair, the location is good being right beside a bus terminal and the selection of comics is great. The Instagram account for this store shows how many different rare and valuable comics they have in store and how they have several copies of those even. That being said, there is one staff in particular that makes him quite uncomfortable every time he comes to look. He is very pushy, has been condescending on several occasions and makes you feel kind of dumb like another reviewer had mentioned, for not knowing your stuff. Aside from that every time my boyfriend and i or even just himself goes into that shop this guy puts a lot of pressure on him to buy things and it gets uncomfortable to the point where we have had to leave. On a side note the store owner is very helpful and friendly and i don't think he is aware of this employee's behaviour as said employee would change the way he talks when the store owner is around.

  Decent comic book store in Edmonton. Primarily focused on back issues and mainly DC and Marvel comics; I would not come here for much else. They do not carry much for newly released comics and have a few hardcover books. Prices seemed fair for non-key issues and a bit pricey for key back issues (in comparison to other Edmonton shops).
  
  In comparison to a few other shops, Ultimate Key Issues Comics (UKIC) sorts back issues alphabetically, but not to specifics (For example, they lump all the Superman comics together but won't further divide them into Volumes). I found it easier and faster to find comics at a few other shops in town. Other than that, they do have quite a large collection to go through.
  
  As other reviewers have mentioned, there is one staff member who is somewhat of a know it all. They weren't very helpful in actually showing myself where to find what I was looking for; however, they did seem very knowledgeable in comics. They also make you feel somewhat dumb if you did not know your comics.
  
  Would I return to this shop? Maybe, but it wouldn't be my first choice.
