  Excellent chicken schnitzel. Nice, intimate, low light ambience. Good bar and excellent service!! Will definitely be back.

  My personal favorite place to eat in all of Whatcom County. Our most recent visit was on Valentines Day and it was packed to capacity yet we got the service and meal as we always do. I had the bar steak medium rare, sautéed mushrooms, and zucchini cooked to perfection. Can’t wait to go back!

  Been going there for 20 years it is very good. But the last visit they seem to be trying to skimp on things like there Bernie sauce, seperated and no flavor hope they fix this. Otherwise very good.

  Old-school look to the place. Nothing pretentious at all, but you also don't feel like you're at a chain or diner. This place knows exactly what it is and is happy to be exactly that. Steaks are excellent and cooked just as they should be, to precise order on a rocket-hot grill (visible through a window from the dining area, which is fun). Sides are "home cookin'" style, from the garlic toast that is literally slices of bread to the sliced potatoes swimming in butter and bacon. If you want a steak, definitely head here.

  We did not call for reservations and we got there right at dinner time, but they got us a table on Nye, the busiest night of the year for them. The staff was attentive and caring. My two year old had the best experience ever, her food came out first with our apps along with extra bread. They supplied a high chair and crayons and paper for her and interacted with her-even as super packed as they were. The decorations for the season were gorgeous and the staff was all dressed so well! People of all kinds were there to eat and the ambiance was incredible. I have never had a less than stellar experience here but tonight was even more above and beyond. The food is always INCREDIBLE I recommend their French onion soup, and amazing steak.
