(May 22, 2019, 3:22 pm)This store is the closest store to where I live and the only grocery store until Birch Bay. Prices are higher then larger supermarkets but the people there are friendly and helpful.
(April 28, 2019, 3:15 pm)I'M FROM CARMEL-BY-THE-SEA, CALIFORNIA AND FIND 'COST CUTTER' IRONICALLY EXPENSIVE.
THE STORE IS WELL LIT AND VERY CLEAN. THE STAFF ARE PLEASANT AND HELPFUL. THE PRODUCE IS NOT THE FRESHEST.
I IMAGINE THE PRICES HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH BEING SO FAR NORTH--JUST A FEW MILES FROM CANADIAN BORDER--TRUCKING COSTS MUST BE QUITE HIGH. AND, MANY CANADIAN'S SHOP HERE WITH THEIR $1.35 DOLLARS VS $1.00 USD.
