So quiet, and the trail is nicely preserved. Just a whole lot of uphill!!
Awesome well-kept and well-marked trails through the woods and a section along a wetland/pond! Trails were not difficult, only a few “steeper” uphill sections, but overall on the easier side. Since it’s located close to Bellingham its and great way to escape the city and get 3-4 miles of woods hiking in without traveling far...
This is just a great day hike! It's an easy trail with fantastic scenery. There are 2 trails... 1 is much shorter and took us a little less than an hour to complete and then the main loop was slightly more difficult and took roughly 2 hours to finish (mostly because I'm so slow and out of shape!). I would highly recommend this for anybody wanting to get out :-)
One of the most underrated trails in Washington State. It's more a forest stroll than a hike, but perfect for a morning run or afternoon walk. Great photography too.
Perfect place to hike in the woods. Lots of pleasant sights to see. They have public restrooms and a parking lot. Unfortunately dogs are forbidden from entering the trails.
