  We came to Bellingham for a three day weekend to get a break from our high maintenance fur-babies. The first night was perfect, the blackout shades allow for sleeping in for ages. The second night there was a party of some kind in the room next door that went from midnight to past 8am, so we didn't sleep a wink. I called the front desk at 3am and they said they would talk to them, but it made no difference. I also went next door at 4am and asked them to please try be more quiet, no luck.
  In the morning we talked to the front desk in person and they upgraded us to a suite for the third night as well as giving us vouchers for brunch in their fabulous restaurant (Northwater). They said a bunch of sports teams had stayed overnight and there were noise complaints all over the hotel.
  All in all I think they did everything they could to make it better, thus the five star rating.
  Also, the fitness center is amazing and the people who maintain it were kind and prompt when I asked for them to change the thermostat to a lower temperature since I tend to overheat.

  Immaculately kept. Great pool and steam room. Very helpful service. Excellent food and well priced too. Will probably stay here again when we visit Bellingham. A very relaxing stay.

  Nicest Holiday Inn on the face of the planet, as far as I can tell. Great room, great building, nice restaurant, and wonderful staff. And good prices. Very happy with our choice!

  This is a great place to stay in Bellingham, the rooms are super clean and spacious. Everything looks new and the location is ideal if you need to be near the airport.. I would recommend the restaurant there. Everything we ordered was fantastic, the bison burger, the meatloaf... all wonderful

  Love this hotel! Perfect place to stay if you need to catch a flight the next day. They have a restaurant inside, and this Holiday Inn is fairly recent. The hotel rooms are usually clean.
