  BTC is the orphan college of Bellingham, it seems like it's administration is attempting to evolve the school into a full fledged community college, but is not quite sure how to progress.
  
  (I have heard, in Feb 2019, that enrollment has been on the decline for several quarters.)
  
  The campus is in a remote part of the city and without a car, is only accessible by a single bus route (WTA 3) from both downtown and/or Cordata that run only once an hour. (Both Whatcom CC and Western have several buses that run nearly every 15 mins).
  
  Some programs are better than others, most of the instruction staff are not certified teachers.
  
  Which can make a difference depending on the basic knowledge of the entering student.
  
  Some times it seemed the college was more focused on the money taken in than it did on establishing the best programs and hiring the best staff.

  Amazing staff and resources. I’ve had such a wonderful experience and had many incredible opportunities as a direct result of the schools interaction with industry and our local community.

  Bellingham Technical College has helped me in a way I didn't know was possible. The Impact program is a miracle beyond what I could have asked for.
