Haskell Free Library and Opera House

This is a great place where friendly and freedom loving people from America and Canada can meet

Friendly atmosphere and a great way to show young adults and kids that everyday Canadians and Americans have a lot in common. “Let’s concentrate on what unites us instead of what divides us” seems to be the message that the Haskell Free Library conveys; look beyond the buildings and you will notice how unique this place truly is.

Not a place for tourists. It is private property so photography is prohibited. Even on the outside. It is only meant for the community as a typical library so not a place where tourists are wanted. Do not go as a tourist to take pictures. They do not want you there.

It's very unique. Book selection is ultra slim but it is the icon of our community, so many community events are held there. The place is special in many ways.
