Blown away by the attention to detail and the great atmosphere the campground creates. Mark the owner is a great guy and truly cares! Hot showers , extremely clean, outlets to charge electronics, great communal area. It poured our first night there and the camp ground drained amazing , we had no mud anywhere ! Had a great night talking biking and sharing stories with other campers around the fire pit. Again I have nothing but praise for Mark the owner. Hi From MD ! We will return many times

Great little campground. Very friendly and cozy atmosphere. The owner is very friendly and easy going. He created an amazing place for mountain bikers, campers to come chill and unwind. The flowers and plants along the road is a nice little touch. There is a cool place to hang out, barbecue and relax by the firepit. Great job Mark for creating such a cool place!!

What a great place. Clean, well maintained, quiet, and comfortable. Access to a great fire pit...a community grill...clean drinking water..and hot showers. Mark has really put a lot of love into this site. We stayed in area number 2 which has a lean-to and you can pitch two 2-person tents in it. Additionally...the port-o-potties were wicked clean. That said, can't recommend this place enough. Short drive to the Village Bike Shop Trailside. This place is an A+ in my book

This is a great option for camping in the NE Kingdom. Centrally located deep in the woods between Lake Willoughby and Kingdom Trails. The owner Mark was gracious and very helpful in planning our days. Clean showers, portable toilets, well kept campsites, and like minded campers were the highlights.

It's important to know what to expect here though. This is a pack in/ pack out camp ground. No dumpsters or rubbishy disposal on site. Sites lack a fire ring of any sort or a picnic table. There is however a communal area with a propane grill, tables, umbrellas, and a large fire tank(?). Cooking of food can be cumbersome with several people using the grill at once. Sitting at the fire pit with strangers I bet would be nice if you happen to have outgoing neighbors. We were not fortunate in that department.

All in all this is great low cost and clean option to be located in an amazing area of the country.

New Burke Camping Rentals is a small private campground located just minutes from Kingdom Trails, Victory State Forest, and Lake Willoughby in the beautiful North East Kingdom region of Vermont. The campground is secluded, quiet, clean, and well appointed, with a community gathering spot featuring a massive fire pit, free showers, clean facilities and a helpful host/owner (Mark) who lives on-site. There are several soft, sandy tent sites, a tent platform, a seasonal cabin, and even room for a smaller RV/Camper on one site. We've stayed with Mark several times and will continue to camp at New Burke Camping Rentals when we visit this area.
