Even though they are under construction right now (Feb 2019) they were so helpful and informative. Theresa is a wonderful guide through the First Nations Gallery!
Staff very informative. Family friendly. A wonderful shop. Something new to learn with every visit
Small compared to some of the larger provincial museums, but a great place to visit. We go once a year when we visit Regina and this year it was the #2 thing that my 7 year old was looking forward to. Admission by donation is a wonderful deal for those who might be a bit more budget conscious. There is a nature detective worksheet that really appealed to my 7 year old, but is reading dependant (my 5 year old wasn't very excited about it).
Great place to take the family. It is free if I remember correctly and by donation. Our family is thankfully well off enough were we can contribute but it is nice to see that things in the city are open for those less fortunate so their kids can enjoy these kind of great experiences as well.
It's a pretty small museum. It's very educational, with a full exhibit on Saskatchewan's fauna, flora and geography. Most exhibits are dioramas of sorts, and there were a couple dinosaur skeletons. It's good for a couple hours visit. Admission fee is by donation with a suggested 6$ for 1 adult.
Suitable for kids who will probably enjoy the carefully reproduced animal models.
