The only bad thing about Meeting Place Organic Farm is that they are so far away from where I live. 2 years ago, I had the great opportunity to work in Huron County for the summer and I got to know and love Katrina and Ben, Fran and Tony, (and Pickle The Pig and Shasta Dog) AND the farm. They are the most wonderful, welcoming, joyful, dedicated, caring and kind people. They are making a difference with who they are, what they do and how they impact the earth we live on.
After being a vegetarian for over 30 years, I made the difficult decision to start eating meat again (for health reasons) and made a vow to only ever eat meat and eggs that are raised organically, responsibly and from a local, free range setting. Seeing how Meeting Place operates, from the responsability and care they take for the animals they raise, to the natural farming methods that reduce their ecological footprint, to the implication of their strong belief in equity and love into their daily business, made such a huge impact on me, and to this day, even though 741 KM separate us, I can feel the ripples of change. I hope other organic farms work on the same level as Meeting Place does, and if they don't- this is the business to look to.

Janice and I have had wonderful experiences with the meats from Meeting Place. The sausages, ground meats, and bacon are versatile for many kinds of meals on short notice. We look forward to sharing with others, but in the meantime, are enjoying them ourselves. We look forward to spending quality time with all the McQuails.

I have been a customer of Meeting Place Organic Farm for three years, though might be longer. The pork is amazing, their beef is delicious, and I am at peace knowing they have respected the land and animals they have raised and harvested. They are passionate about what they do and it is very obvious in their products. I am thankful they are close; providing my family with local, nutritious, organic food.

Thank you Katrina. We’ve only ordered a couple of times and both of our experiences have been great,. You are wonderful to communicate with and are very prompt with replying to questions or concerns. Great customer service and honestly some of the best meat we have ever had.
We are forever customers for sure... just need to buy more freezers and be able to start buying in bulk ...

Meeting Place meat is absolutely delicious. I love the taste of the meat and love knowing how and where it was raised even more. I have had the beef, pork, chicken, and goat and always been impressed (though I think the hams are my favorite). The only sad thing is that the pesky boarder guards won't let me bring beef to the US (where I live now), or else I would drive up to bring it back down myself. (Plus the apples in the fall and apple butter cannot be beat).

Total win if you like walking jogging or cycling. Quiet and nice to rest your mind. If your lucky a deer will pop out and see what you are up too.
