  I spent much solitary time here for 3 years. The peaceful and beautiful outdoor environment was healing for me. I also participated in a number of workshops for trauma survivors. I was inspired to paint, sing and dance freely on my own..which was a great release. I experienced my inner spirit coming alive in the retreat's whole environment.This was many years ago when the retreat was fairly new.

  Beautiful and peaceful. Lovely walking trail to the river so no need to be bush wacking. The retreat has water from a natural spring. No chemicals in the water ????????????. There is also culigan if you wish. The deck that goes around part of the house is really nice it has a little bit of an actual hangover so even if it's raining you could still be outside and not get soaked. For me that was awesome because I was taking pictures of a storm that was rolling through. The only reason I held back a star and its downfall for me personally was the beds. They are some kind of height density memory foam mattress. Personally can't sleep on them. I just used a couch. No big deal.
