(May 31, 2019, 1:34 pm)My significant other and I passed by because we were looking for something in the area with a little spice and didn’t want to drive all the way into the city for good Caribbean food and we stumbled upon this place and were wonderfully surprised at how yummy the food was!! For our mains, he had the traditional pork griot dish served with plantains, a side salad and rice and I tried their chicken poutine with the spicy sauce. It was soooooo good!! However the best part was the appetizer; pork patties. They come in a set of 4, three-bite pieces with a spicy dipping sauce for 3.50$?! They came piping hot and incredibly flaky on the outside but filled with the yummiest pulled pork filling.
If you’re in the area and you’re craving some good Caribbean food, it’s a nice spot for a quick bite. We’re definitely going to go back!! -

(November 4, 2018, 10:44 am)This is honestly one of my favorite restaurants, point-finale! The owner is hospitable and the service is professional. I always get the griot and am always amazed at how it is even better than I remembered it. I wish I lived closer because I would go here very often!
