Auberge Willow Inn

Very well situated on the water in Hudson. The view from deck, inside or ourside, is grand. The Willow currently tries to position itself as a casual pub (the former dining room is now only available for events). In the pub, a meal for two with wine and coffee will add to $75 (tax in!), and thus maybe $85 with a tip... And that's the problem: despite a great view, that is expensive for pub fare (in my opinion).

The Willow Inn has been newly renovated and looks fabulous. The new management, staff were very accommodating. The rooms are gorgeous. The restaurant has a new chef and the food was excellent with great variety. Had fall off the bone ribs and will be having a family reunion this coming Sunday. The setting is relaxing and friendly.

Earlier this month I trusted the Willows with my wedding venue. They exceeded my expectations. My family came from the states, and stayed at the Willows. They commented many times on the friendly professional service. So many of our guests stated that their meal was the best they have ever experienced at a restaurant. I would highly recommend them, and will be back soon to enjoy a delicious meal with a beautiful view. Thank you to the Willows staff for all you did for making our special day Special! I have always loved the Willow. New management has invested smartly in the building. We had some great draft beer and light food while overlooking the Ottawa River on a beautiful sunny afternoon. It doesn't get any better.

Food is really good. Setting is great , especially in the summertime with that beautiful view of the lake but the service is so bad. I won’t go to into detail but when it comes to service, they do everything wrong. We went on a Saturday evening and the weather was perfect but the place was almost empty by 8:45pm and I am sure it’s cause the service is unbearable. I feel so bad to give a bad review cause it looks like the owners really put a lot of effort / money in re-opening the Willow Inn. I hope they fix this issue. We all want to willow inn to stay in business and be a success.
