If you are not physically fit enough and can tolerate more or less the heat, this expedition will surely be difficult for you. 2.4 km long (round trip) this trail, on fairly steep terrain in places, will give you a good cardio and breathing exercise. Bring your water, you will probably need it. Distribute with a 100gr of crystals and full of new knowledge this place is to visit. Rémi the owner and his daughter (whose name I forget) help you find beautiful specimens, the best place to find them. Online reservation on the site is necessary places are limited and they leave quickly thank you. Thank you for the great experience, I'm putting this expedition on my agenda for another vacation next year.

(August 11, 2021, 2:59 am)Very nice trip. A hike of about 30 minutes and educational. We expected a little more quartz. We dig on the surface so we find small stones. The guides are really nice. Maybe just $10 too expensive for this activity.

(July 8, 2021, 11:55 pm)Could be improved. Beautiful site, but a little expensive for a hike in the forest and 20-25 minutes of picking crystals in the sand. At this price there are other attractions to visit in the area before. We are told how they break the stone to find the crystals, but tell us that this is not what the guests do, we will rather pick up the remains of crystals lying around the site without hammer or punch.

(August 2, 2018, 1:27 am)The guide Myriam was very nice. The walk to get to the site is not too long, nor too difficult. The harvested crystals are fine, but what made me take off a star is that they don't let us search long enough. The search is supposed to last 30 minutes, which is not enough. They stop you when your 100g jump is full, I wanted to sort and look for the best ones... Otherwise, I recommend!
