(March 3, 2020, 11:27 pm)Food was very good. I had a cheeseburger and fries. The meat was very tasty and did not contain fillers, as most places now seem to do. The fries were so crispy and tasty. My guests also enjoyed their meals: no complaints. First time there and will definitely go back. Prices compatible to other restaurants. Service was good and prompt. Lots of free parking. Restaurant faces the Ottawa River and there is an outside patio which was closed because this is still winter. I am sure it will be an added bonus to eat there, in sunmer, on the patio, as I look out at the water. Thoroughly enjoyed taking my visitors there for lunch.

(January 28, 2019, 11:31 am)Café de l’île is a true gem on calumet, they have amazing food and everything is priced well. The service is always on point. We make sure to stop here for pizza and poutine whenever we’re around! Breakfast is served all day on weekends.
