See photos: Red unit is David Astro (a work of machining art) and the black is iOptron (junk). There is no comparison whatsoever! I called DavidAstro five minutes after receiving via UPS. Great service!

If your items are in stocks, their shipping is very quick, plus their shipping rate is also affordable compared to other astronomy store here in Québec. 👍

Several months ago, I decided to try my hand at solar imaging. I purchased the scope from David Astro and the Quark from another supplier.
When David discovered that I was having problems achieving focus on the sun, he offered to spend time with me (via zoom) to determine the cause. He spent the afternoon patiently helping me achieve the right back focus.
He is a kind business owner that looks after his customers. I plan to buy several more items and he is now my preferred supplier for astromony related gear.

I took this out several times so far, and the views are amazing - just tons of contrast, and stars are pin-crisp, with very rich saturated colors. Just an amazing instrument. Big thanks to David for his great service, support and prompt shipping!
